Rantec is an upper-tier designer and manufacturer of power supplies for the military and aerospace markets. We are an engineering-based company, with expertise in all aspects of power supply design, manufacturing and test.

Position Summary

Gain valuable hands-on experience while being a part of a team that foster’s innovation, employee involvement. Perform task and project level assignments including process improvement, analysis, and operations support of power supply manufacturing for defense and aerospace applications. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to different departmental teams on day-to-day tasks and projects.
  • Help schedule and prepare for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist in preparing simple presentations, summaries, and reports for internal or client meetings.
  • Develop strategies to improve timeliness of information and overall efficiency.
  • Assist with organizing and updating files, records, and reports.
  • Help with communication between the company, suppliers, or customers
  • Gain exposure to the manufacturing process and assist in simple tasks.
  • Support operations improvement through the analysis of existing processes and the incorporation of process improvements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, as required.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations.
  • As the Company’s success relies on the productivity of our team and adherence to customer product schedules, an essential function of this position is the ability to arrive to work on-time, and work each day, as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Education and Experience

  • Interest in electronics manufacturing
  • 1 year of previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage time and tasks
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Good organization skills with superb attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ERP & MRP software
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • 3.0 or higher GPA

Salary: $21.00 Hourly
